On Wednesday, March 31, 2010 Sam and I found out that I was pregnant! It was very exciting. Sam wanted to call everyone he knew to spread the word about our news! We were going to Alabama the very next day for Easter weekend, so we got to tell his parents in person on Thursday night and mine in person on Saturday afternoon.
Word spread quickly among the Champion side of the family! The Hutchinson side of the family found out immediately following my cousin Hudson's wedding on May 1, 2010. And then we started to spread the news to everyone in Nashville (which was the week immediately following the Flood of 2010). A very interesting week, to say the least. Luckily Nashville is on the rise and the local (and federal) government response was amazing! Even more awesome is the community spirit and volunteerism that reigns through all of Middle Tennessee.
Back to the baby news ... the baby's estimated due date is December 10, 2010. We will find out if he/she is a girl or boy and will let everyone know.
